1. About these terms
These terms apply to crisp.photos, run by G3ronimo Labs e.U., Zedlitzgasse 5/13, 1010 Vienna, Austria, email [email protected] ("we", "us"). By using the site or buying credits you agree to them. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
2. Free tools
The free tools run in your browser and need no account. They are provided as they are, and we may change or discontinue them at any time.
3. Fast mode
Credits
- One credit upscales one photo to 4× its width and height.
- Credits come in packs. Prices are shown before you pay and are final: as a small business we are exempt from VAT (§ 6 (1) 27 UStG), so no VAT is charged. Payment is handled by Stripe.
- Credits don't expire. They can't be exchanged for cash or transferred, except where the law requires it.
Your login link
After buying, you get a personal link by email. That link is your login: anyone who has it can use your credits. Keep it private. Each link is valid for 7 days. If it expires or you lose it, you can get a new one on the fast-mode page with the email address you paid with. Your credits stay in your account either way.
Processing your photos
- Photos can be up to 200 MB and 25 megapixels. Results are delivered as JPEG.
- A credit is used when processing starts. If processing fails, you get the credit back automatically.
- If a result is clearly broken (not just different from what you hoped for), email us and we'll give you the credit back.
- Results can be downloaded from the page where you started them. Once you leave or reload that page they're no longer shown, and all photos and results are deleted within 48 hours. Keep your originals and download results right away.
- Fast mode runs on our own hardware. We aim to keep it available but can't guarantee it, and it may be paused for maintenance.
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
You can withdraw from a credit purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason, as long as you haven't used any credits from that pack. Email us and we refund the full amount through the original payment method within 14 days.
At checkout you ask us to make the credits available right away. Once you start processing a photo with credits from a pack, you lose the right to withdraw from that purchase.
4. Your photos and results
- Your photos and the results stay yours. We claim no rights to them.
- You allow us to store and process your photos only as far as needed to deliver the results, and for no other purpose.
- You may only upload photos you have the right to use. Don't upload anything illegal, including content that sexualizes minors, violates someone's privacy, or infringes copyright. We may delete such content, close the account without refund, and report it to the authorities where the law requires.
5. Fair use
Don't try to break, overload or get around the service: no attacks, no attempts to access other people's photos or accounts, no automated bulk use beyond normal personal or professional use. We may block access that harms the service or other users.
6. What upscaling can and can't do
Upscaling creates a larger image by estimating detail that isn't in the original. Results can contain artifacts or details that weren't there. Check every result before you rely on it, and don't use results as evidence or for forensic, medical or identification purposes.
7. Warranty and liability
If you're a consumer, your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an obligation that is essential to the contract, and then only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Losing photos you didn't keep a copy of is not a damage we're liable for, since the service deletes them by design.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after the update. If a change affects credits you already have, we tell you by email in advance, and you can ask for a refund of unused credits instead.
9. Applicable law
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you're a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you can bring claims before the courts there.
